August is our busiest month of the year, so we’ve been on a shooting marathon. Shooting is what we love best, so we’re happy to be busy 🙂 But, because we are always out in the field shooting, we haven’t been able to keep up with blog posts, so sorry for the delay!

Here is a little sneak peek of a recent wedding we shot at Paradise Point… First I have to say that Stacie and Dennis are head over heels in love with each other. They possess a deep and grounded love for one another, one that has developed over 11 years.  Yet, they still look at each other like they just fell in love yesterday. It’s really cool to see (and to photograph).  Their wedding struck the perfect balance of focus: it was as much about the two of them as it was about their family and friends. Our favorite part of the day was when after saying their vows in the garden (overlooking the bay) in soft, overcast light the sun broke through the clouds and shone brilliantly down on them. That definitely gave me goosebumps on my arms, raised my arm hairs too!!!

The reception dinner was equally as beautiful as the rest of the day, but you’ll have to wait for those… In the meantime, enjoy these images from the day.

Dennis is a baseball player and coach, so Petco Park was the perfect location for photos with his groomsmen. Dennis has a lot of respect for the legendary San Diego Padre, Tony Gwynn, hence the portrait below. Pretty great quote.Stacie looking up at the moment the sun broke through the clouds 🙂
