Central Park Engagement Session

Aug 21, 2014

0001 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New YorkWe’re so happy to share these images from a beautiful afternoon in Central Park.  After a day of rain, the sun came out to shine on this beautiful couple.  We explored some of their favorite spots in the Park and then took a cab to Brooklyn for a view of the city where they met and fell in love.  That evening also happened to be the final match of the World Cup, so I couldn’t help but snag the shot of the Germany fans hanging out of their cab on the Brooklyn Bridge!

Congratulations Nadine and Adam! We were honored to document this special time for you!0002 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0003 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0004 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0005 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0006 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0007 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0008 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0009 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0010 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0011 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0012 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0014 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York0015 Destination Wedding Photographer Husband Wife Photojournalistic New York

COMMENTs:

  1. I love the 1st 2 photos! The colors are amazing!

  2. Tara Cooney says:

These are so gorgeous! Love NYC couples in love… The photo in front of the Boathouse is so classic and full of love, definitely my favorite 🙂

  3. Len C. Maggio says:

I like photos that are hard to duplicate. Sometimes only one of a kind. The silhouettes are cool. They reveal info about the subjects without actually showing their faces. Most all of these photos are “frameable” for the mantle. (not counting the soccer pic) I like the creativity in the natural poses. You can really tell the difference when a couple is truly in love. I am going with the 2nd photo from the top. The walk in Central Park. Both turned and looking with genuine smiles oblivious to what may going on behind them. Great job guys. Its unfortunate that you can’t shoot the actual wedding next Spring. Really like your work.

  4. Carly Shanahan says:

I like the third to the last photo most where it’s just you, Adam and the city.

Second favorite is the shot of Adam’s head on your shoulder when you two are in the park on the bench.

  5. Alison says:

Great pictures of an amazing couple! Hard to pick a favorite but I would say the boat basin background shot is really great!

  6. Stacy Maggio says:

I think my favorite shot is of Adam and Nadine in front of the water. I love the genuine smiles on their faces.

All the photos of these two wonderful human beings are fantastic. If I had to share only one with the world it would be the black and white slow dance. A moment in time has been captured that you could describe in a paragraph or a single word. How every you describe it Love would be the comment theme. The balance, color, depth of field concept and subjects pull you into the moment. Excellent artistry!!!

  8. DeeDee Rodriguez says:

I am a true fan of black and white photography and my favorite engagement photo is the dancing in the park, I just love it!
It is elegant and powerful and can tell a totally different story if you looked at the same picture in color.

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

    Congrats on the Engagement!

    Love you,
    Mom

  9. Deanne Nieto says:

I LOVE the b&w photo…you captured the depth of Adam’s emotions. I also love the pic where you see Nadine smiling contentedly…her hair is blowing just a little. Gives me chills. So beautiful…

  10. Lucy Urrutia says:

I LOVE the photo of them in the Mall in Central Park! All amazing photos.

  11. Bobbi Barrera says:

I’m a fan of the first photo! Great shot.

  12. Ashley Arnold says:

Oh wow, all of these photos are so fantastic (not hard with such a gorgeous couple)! It was difficult to decide, but my favorite is the one of you two sitting on the ‘Poet’s Walk’ bench (followed closely by the one beside the Brooklyn Bridge and the one in front of the Boathouse). You look as though you’ve just shared an inside joke and I really love the genuine smiles and pure love that it exudes. Thanks for sharing these with us! Enjoy every moment of this incredibly special time in your lives! Congratulations!

These pictures are amazing! Congratulations Nadine and Adam. These photos definitely highlight what it is to be in love in New York. I love the iconic locations. I can’t seem to pick a favorite shot because I love them all!

  14. Matt Cooney says:

It looks like Rick and Bernadette did it again- capturing another great NYC couple on film. I think the Brooklyn Bridge shot of Adam and Nadine is my favorite (and the soccer players too!) but the boathouse in the background is awesome as well. Nice job, and cheers to a great couple!

  15. Leslie Mitek says:

These are all awesome, magnificent pictures. The silhouettes are beautiful and the black and whites striking. When you see your son so happy and so much in love, it is difficult to pick just one. I think my first choice is Adam and Nadine on the bench in Central Park. My next choice would be in front of the Boathouse. To see your child so much in love with such a wonderful girl brings such joy to my heart. Love you both and can’t wait for the wedding.
    Love, Mom
