Here are some images from a maternity shoot we did at Mission Trails Regional Park. Rick and I hike and run here often, and the place has special significance for us, as we came here a lot when I was pregnant and also many times with our son, Dylan. We have memories of walking here during sunrise because he wasn’t sleeping well and well, we had to get out of the house in order to keep ourselves from falling asleep! He has explored the trails there from in the carrier on our belly, to off-roading in the stroller, and now, he runs with us! Our favorite time here is just before sunset as the sun recedes back over Cowles Mountain… the light is golden and with the surrounding mountains and light breeze blowing over the grasses, it’s simply serene.  We thought it was the perfect spot for Leslie and Jordan’s shoot.  Leslie looked so at home in the peaceful setting and she glowed with inner serenity, as I find that pregnant women often do. I absolutely loved Leslie’s choice of sweater! It was blowing in the wind and just so perfect for the setting.  This was just the most peaceful shoot, and the baby seemed to like it too, as he kicked alot during the session! We can’t wait to see him after he makes his grand entrance into the world.
