Vanessa and Brad are a super cool couple who heard about us through friends. All of the friends in this circle are just the nicest people and we feel so lucky to get to work with such a great group of people. Vanessa and Brad got married at Sacred Heart in Coronado and had their reception at the Coronado Community Center, which was such an awesome venue. The thing that stood out most to us about this day was the music. There was an opera singer, Daniel Hendrick, who sang the most incredible performance during the ceremony that everyone in the church clapped, which you normally don’t do during a Catholic mass. After this guy sang, you just couldn’t help it. Then, Vanessa’s great uncle sang Ave Maria. So beautiful and moving. I wish I could relive those two songs. It was just so amazing. Then, at the reception, this super cool couple chose the best music for the DJ to play. It was hard for us not to dance while we were shooting (maybe we did just a little). The reception was just a big, fun celebration and we were blown away again when Vanessa’s dad sang some old standards, including Sinatra, and the woman all formed a kick line. Beautiful couple, incredible music, good food (Ranch Catering + Mona Lisa’s pizza at the end of the night) and a really fun party. Hard to go wrong there. One last thing… Vanessa’s dress was awesome! And the ring bearer’s outfit is just too cute!
