Harbour Island, Bahamas

Sep 15, 2014

This is Harbour Island; a small island with a big personality.  Being only three miles long, the preferred mode of transportation is by golf cart.  No cars needed.  The people are some of the warmest you’ll ever meet. In fact, you can’t pass by anyone on this island without waving hello.  When you arrive on the island, the welcome sign reads “Harbour Island: Home of Friendly People.”  The sand is pink. The fish are plentiful.  This place is a hidden paradise tucked away in the Bahamas.  Rick and I consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been asked to photograph a wedding here for an amazing couple.  Wedding photos coming soon. For now, just relax and enjoy some images from around the island.0002 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticFisherman0003 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticFishing Nets0004 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticThe Bay0005 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticBoys playing in the water near a pile of conk shells0006 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticThis is the delicious animal that once lived in the conk shell.0007 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticI’m not sure how they got these license plates, since there aren’t really cars on the island.0008 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticLocal Dog0009 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticSome sweet local kids0010 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticThe rooster catcher 0011 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticOne of the many amazing sunsets0012 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticThe Landing0013 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticRoots0014 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticDoors of the Rock House0015 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticDock0018 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticSecurity guard at Viccum Night Club.0019 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticOwner of Viccum proudly sharing the famous ‘biggest coconut on the Island’.0020 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticLocal guy at the club.0021 International Destination Wedding Photographer PhotojournalisticThis was pretty much how each day ended…
