This is Harbour Island; a small island with a big personality. Being only three miles long, the preferred mode of transportation is by golf cart. No cars needed. The people are some of the warmest you’ll ever meet. In fact, you can’t pass by anyone on this island without waving hello. When you arrive on the island, the welcome sign reads “Harbour Island: Home of Friendly People.” The sand is pink. The fish are plentiful. This place is a hidden paradise tucked away in the Bahamas. Rick and I consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been asked to photograph a wedding here for an amazing couple. Wedding photos coming soon. For now, just relax and enjoy some images from around the island.FishermanFishing NetsThe BayBoys playing in the water near a pile of conk shellsThis is the delicious animal that once lived in the conk shell.I’m not sure how they got these license plates, since there aren’t really cars on the island.Local DogSome sweet local kidsThe rooster catcher One of the many amazing sunsetsThe LandingRootsDoors of the Rock HouseDockSecurity guard at Viccum Night Club.Owner of Viccum proudly sharing the famous ‘biggest coconut on the Island’.Local guy at the club. This was pretty much how each day ended…
