Best Wedding Venues and Photography Moments 2016

Dec 31, 2016

John and the guys enjoy a little treat before the ceremony a the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. The fairmont hotel is a wonderful wedding venue and offers so many great opportunities for wedding photos. The venue is classic and there is so much attention to detail in the architecture of the resort that really anywhere is a good place to shoot.

We were lucky to get to photograph several beautiful couples in some of the best wedding venues in amazing and unique places throughout 2016.  We pulled out some of our favorite wedding photography moments.  We hope you enjoy! We traveled to Mexico for a destination wedding, as well as Napa for a wedding in wine country. We also shot up in Mt. Shasta, and Los Angeles as well as across San Diego county. It is difficult to say what the best wedding venue of the year is, so we decided to list some photos from a variety of awesome and unique locations for a wedding in San Diego, or elsewhere. In the process, it becomes clear that the ways in which many of our clients make weddings are a reflection of who they are as a couple, what they find fun, and/or their cultural backgrounds. The best wedding photography should capture the essence of who you are as a couple in order to be authentic, honest, and meaningful.

If your wedding venue is located in Balboa Park checkout the California Tower and arrange a private tour. It is a unique place for some couple photos on your wedding day. It is located upstairs inside the San Diego Museum of Man.

The unexpected moments sometimes make for great wedding photography and memories. (We have another shot of the horse eating a boutonnière!) We have shot many weddings around Rancho Santa Fe and some of the best venues are often the family’s own back yard/property/estate.Groom lifts bride in air during first dance at destination wedding in Baja MexicoKate and Lance perform an epic first dance

This candid wedding photo was taken at North Chapel, NTC Liberty Station. In recent years Liberty Station has become a premier wedding location filled with all sorts of options for wedding venues. There are a few options including the chapel and also Brick.
