Gaelan and Isaiah met a few years back on the beach in Nantucket (so cool!). And they ended up moving out to San Diego together. So the theme of their wedding is San Diego meets Nantucket. Being the creative and design-minded genius that she is, Gaelan brought elements of both places into the photo shoot. We started at an orange and avocado grove behind their house in Encinitas where they enjoyed a picnic with some strawberry rhubarb pie (made by an amazing bakery Elizabethan Desserts, who also happened to make our wedding cake). Then, after a stroll through the fields on their beach cruisers, we headed down to the beach to snag a few shots before the sunset. Sounds like an amazing date, huh? They came with so many great ideas, which we always encourage because we can feed off of that vibe and stylize the shoot in that direction. I have to admit that I’m in love with the image above (and so many from this shoot). I’ve also got a feeling that this wedding is going to be awesome 🙂
These pictures are incredible!! I love the picture of them in the rear view mirror!!! Amzing!!!
Very Cool! Mama would say “Who are these beautiful people?”
Thanks R + B, that session was wayyy too much fun. Hard to choose my favorite, but I think I’m gonna have to go with the top 2!
What a great idea! Fab photos. Baboo saw them as well. Here’s to having sand between your toes for years to come.
I have to agree with Gaelan, my favorite is the first one but then I’ll add another – the one where you are at the picnic. Great shots; you guys are beautiful!
WOW!!!!! ALL of these photos are incredible. Im having a hard time picking my favorite!!!! The closeup of G&I holding hands with the emphasis on the gorgeous ring may be close to #1. But the one with them both in shades in that cool old car is SO southern cali meets ACK and SO G&I… the way they look at each other, the love they show for one another and how gorgeous they both are is so exquisitely portrayed in each and every photo. WELL DONE!!! Can’t wait for the wedding 🙂
OH! And the bikes!!!! My favorite memory of visiting the two on ACK was riding Gaelan’s bike around and around the island, lost, of course…. It screams their similarities and what a fun-loving, active, amazing couple they are 🙂 THANKS for sharing these!!!!!!!
I love these photos!!!!! You two look amazing, and the scenes are so fun and uniquely photographed. Where will you use these photos? Your wedding website? At the wedding itself?
WOW! These pictures are amazing and beautiful. It’s hard to pick one from such great photos. I especially liked these: The first close up of Gaelan and Isaiah in the convertible, then the close up with their bikes and the one next to the train. They are all wonderful, what beautiful shots and a beautiful couple. Mazel Tov!
What amazing photos!! You both look stunning, and radiantly in love, which we know you are! My favorite is the one of you two through the bicycle wheel, but I also love the ones you are playing in the waves.
I love the pictures! They are amazing – looks like you are somewhere else. Besides the fact that you are both beautiful people, the photographer really captured something very special. Congrats, Sean
I love the car & the bikes… I had to pin some of your photos as my fave & save for later inspiration 🙂
creative genius! love the shots
Love photo 1,2 but 5 the most. Right…, really glamouruos like we image you both in the states and at the beach of California.
And…love is in every picture, beautiful reportage. We’ll show them to bomma.
What a beautiful couple and I like how you took the pics from blk and wht and then to color, and bringing Gaelan’s facial image up close…she is gorgeous! I know when the babies start coming…they will have dimples. You all did a great job! Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for the wedding, I know it will be so exciting, well planned and beautiful.
Love the pix, especially the one through the bike and the one in the rear view.. but really and truly love you guys even more. Two good positive, fun and beautiful people who found each other and who share that great energy with everyone. xxx
