We were thrilled when Matt and Lisa contacted us to do an anniversary shoot here in San Diego.  They got married in Mexico and didn’t feel that their photography authentically captured the day and the setting…so this shoot was an opportunity to create images that honor their relationship and their marriage.  Lisa couldn’t have picked a better scene than Balboa Park to compliment her dress, which was absolutely stunning on her.  After strolling around Balboa Park, we headed to Coronado, which is across the water from Seaport Village, where Matt proposed.  They brought their adorable little dog, Razzie for some photos on the beach and savored the sunset in this very special spot for them.  What a great way to celebrate your anniversary!  And it’s pretty awesome to photograph a couple a year after the big day, when their love and admiration for each other is just as strong and probably deeper than it was then!
