All you have to do is look at these images to get a feel for what a FUN couple Clara and Martin are! They are determined to make life an extraordinary adventure, just as they did for this shoot!  We couldn’t have picked a better day to shoot in China Town than on Chinese New Year.  There were crowds of happy people filling the already colorful and festive space, which added a great energy to the shoot.  It was so romantic to see the couple smiling, hugging and kissing underneath a shower of confetti.  Clara and Martin certainly picked the perfect outfits for this scene, and I love seeing the girl in the background with the red Chinese dress in the image above.  These guys also have a great eye for the funky, the quirky, and the beautiful in the overlooked banal spaces that many people just don’t appreciate.  It was fun to shoot in some spaces that weren’t your typical ‘pretty spots,’  and Clara and Martin were game for anything fun and unique.  And when we ventured into the downtown area to shoot against some modern architecture at the LAPD, Martin didn’t miss an opportunity to ask the news crews (who were reporting in front of the building) if he could borrow the camera for a fun staged shot of Clara as a news anchor. Hilarious.  We ended the shoot with some night shots in front of the gorgeous fountains at the LA Music Center and topped the evening off with some deliciously amazing ramen!  The shoot truly was an adventure due to the dynamic energy that Clara and Martin brought with them… We can’t wait for their wedding!!!
