Zahra and Julio’s wedding in Balboa Park was…well, perfect. The weather was gorgeous. Zahra and Julio were just glowing. Their guests were excited. The wedding party was energetic And the colors…oh, the colors! My favorite part. They planned a wedding that was bright and brilliant, and it really set the tone for the day. This was a celebration. And the colors were a visual representation of that. It wasn’t just a celebration of the marriage of Zahra and Julio but of the union of their families and friends, as well as their cultures. The clothing, music and traditions added so much to the colorful day. I hope you enjoy seeing come of our favorite moments from the day…

Right after the ceremony, there was this beautiful ray of sunlight coming through the trees. The couple must break the sapatia by stepping on them, thereby releasing the gifts they contain. It is said that the first person to break the sapatia will rule the household…And Zahra made sure to break hers first!
