This summer we had a rare opportunity to be guests at a wedding! We were so excited to celebrate Rick’s cousin Nadene’s wedding to her wonderful boyfriend of ten years. This was an occasion that we had been anticipating for a long time, and we couldn’t have been happier for them to officially tie the knot. This beautiful couple had an intimate ceremony in their lovely city of Portland and came back home to Denver to celebrate with all of their family and friends. This backyard wedding celebration was timeless, with live Italian music and Big Band. Rick, Dylan and I danced the night away under the gorgeous Colorado skies, and we managed to take a few photos too. Our little guy was cuttin’ the rug until after midnight! And the party was still going when we finally had to leave to get our son to bed. Congratulations to this timeless couple on an incredible start to their married life together!
She is just stunning.
A few minutes of downtime before seeing her husband…
She’s glowing!
The beautiful women of the family.
Dylan decided to make a bouquet of his own, while I was photographing the family.
This band was amazing! They played a combination of Italian music and Big Band/Swing.
Nadene surprised Shane with a performance! She pulled out the trumpet she hadn’t played since high school and took lessons for weeks before the wedding. Their first dance started with her playing, and the band took over as she then joined Shane on the dance floor for a swing dance.
Shane was shocked!
If I could sum up the event with one image, this would be it.
Beautiful memories were made!
