Mt. Palomar Winery | Destination Temecula Wedding

Jun 15, 2017

Vanessa and David have the sweetest love story… they were neighbors growing up! Since they met so close to their home in Milwaukee, they decided to plan their wedding in a place a little further away.  After looking for beautiful sunny places that didn’t require international travel, they decided on a Temecula Wedding at  Mt. Palomar Winery, where they could be married outside on a vineyard in the sun. A winery wedding is always beautiful, and as you can see below, Temecula did not disappoint. Their ceremony was held outside on La Bella Vista lawn under expansive blue skies with a 360 degree view of the valley.  The guests enjoyed the view paired with wine (all aged and bottled at Mount Palomar Winery) during the cocktail hour and spent the rest of the evening outside on the Piatza di Arbole for the reception.

Vanessa and David wanted to optimize their time for portraits on this beautiful day, so we spent the early afternoon exploring Old Town Temecula with their wedding party and utilizing the texture on the historic sun kissed buildings for couple portraits and wedding party shots.  We even found a wedding sign at an antique shop that we incorporated into a photo. These guys were ready to have fun, so our time with them felt more like play than work.  The white shades they handed out to their wedding party and guests were a nice touch and made the portraits even more fun. And the wood flowers were so unique and such a great eco-friendly idea for bridal bouquets that will last forever. Checkout their unique recycled bridal bouquets!

I just had to stop Vanessa at this window to capture her silhouette before she stepped into the elevator.  I just love the light, the lines on the ground, her hands, and the light fixtures that seem to point to Vanessa.
