0001San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkSome beautiful moments from Little Jackson’s first weeks at home.  This little guy is so loved…by his parents, and by his furry little siblings!  We photographed his parents wedding five years ago, so we were so thrilled to hear of their news and that they wanted us to document this most precious time for their family.  We look forward to witnessing Jackson’s growth through the years…through our cameras.  What an amazing job we have.0003San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkI couldn’t help but snag this image with Shilo’s reflection as she was rocking Jackson to sleep.0005San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkBaby yawns are the best!0006San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkFather – son moment.  I just love that their wedding photo is framed on the dresser…and also the measuring stick in the background…and the window light reflected in the mirror. There’s a whole story in this image.0002San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkSuch a beautiful family.  I just love the way Shilo is gently touching Jackson’s sweet little head 🙂0007San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkThis is Kaos.  She was at the engagement shoot and the wedding 5 years ago.  I think she looks quite regal here.0008San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkSo sweet!0004San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkJust an ordinary moment where Shilo was burping Jackson. To me, these ordinary moments are the most precious, because they are the ones you forget.  Now, it can’t be forgotten…because it was photographed 🙂0009San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkSweet baby’s head cradled in Mom and Dad’s hands.  It will never be this small again…0010San Diego Wedding Photographer Photojournalistic Creative Husband Wife Team Engagement Session Balboa ParkShilo looks like an angel in this image. Stacie and Dennis heard about us through their friends, Kristina and Tom, whose wedding we photographed last year. We just love when we get to work with friends of couples we know because they always end up being such great people…since great people attract other great people 🙂 So, Stacie and Dennis decided on their downtown loft and the neighborhood for their engagement session. Dennis actually proposed to Stacie on the night they moved into this place. You can see the poem he wrote and gave to her on that night.  It’s called “perfect.” It’s so clear from being around these two that that is exactly what they see in each other, perfection.  They are so sweet to one another, and they’ve got a great sense of style.  To add to the perfection, they’ve got an adorable four legged child.  We had so much fun hanging out downtown with them and can’t wait for their wedding this Summer.

This image really evokes a narrative for me. It’s an interesting in-between moment that seems to be taken out of a story of another time and place.  It’s one of those images that I can’t stop looking at. I don’t know what it is….Dennis is a talented baseball player, so this photo is kind of perfect.
