It was so fun to photograph this amazing couple in Rick’s hometown of Montclair New Jersey.  Being based in San Diego, it’s such a treat to shoot in a place that is so green!  Yes, we paid for it with some New Jersey heat and humidity, but Jordan and Riz were troopers. Their fun-loving nature made this such a fun outing. There were lots of laughs and beautiful moments where (as you can see) Jordan and Riz were just glowing with happiness and joy.  We started off in Brookdale Park… check out those amazing elm trees and beautiful rose garden!  Then we headed over to Kips Castle, which rests on the highest point in Montclair and offers a beautiful view of New York City as well as incredible architecture that replicates a medieval Norman castle.  Jordan and Riz are both from Montclair and have many childhood memories at these spots.  The evening ended with a shoot on the rooftop of Jordan’s old apartment in Montclair. This was where Jordan lived when he met his future wife.  It was fun to hear them reminisce about the parties they used to have on that roof back when they were dating. We’re so happy that we were able to capture this special time for Riz and Jordan.  These guys are bound to make each other happy for the rest of their lives!
